FastTrack's EasyQuery meets the needs of most businesses requiring uniquely specific reports from FastTrack applications. A data-mining tool, EasyQuery provides a powerful addition to FastTrack’s already extensive management and financial reporting facilities. You can create (and re-run) ad hoc queries within FastTrack SkillsBase and Recruitment Manager, or across SkillsBase, Recruitment Payroll Manager and Integrated Ledger.

EasyQuery is not a reporting tool: it extracts data for subsequent analysis, manipulation and reporting, giving great flexibility.

For maximum security, EasyQuery works from a copy of your database, allowing you to work with confidence, knowing you cannot damage the ‘live’ database while getting exactly the information you want.

Three levels of query are possible:

• Users with no knowledge of Microsoft Access or other databases can run simple queries, for example: to perform an update audit of client and candidate records.
• Users with Access training or experience in applying database functionality can use EasyQuery to make more complex searches and create reports from data held in many sections of the database. An example: to audit revenue against activity for KPI measuring and/or planning.
• If you require an elaborately customised query, FastTrack technical consultants are available* to write, rework, or optimise your query, then e-mail it for uploading.
