Torque Recruitment Group has gone from start-up to $50-million plus a year business in quick time using FastTrack’s reliable, fully integrated Enterprise software.

Torque Recruitment Group (TRG), which has just celebrated its third birthday, has built a $50-million plus a year business using FastTrack’s Enterprise software as the bedrock of its success.

When founder and CEO David Byrnes was searching the marketplace for his start-up company’s biggest purchase, he knew exactly what he needed in a system to best serve his business: “I wanted a product that was well supported, robust, integrated, that could grow with us, and had powerful search capabilities.

“It was particularly important that the payroll-billing system must be integrated and it must be incredibly robust, because I expected to put it under enormous pressure with quick growth in the labour hire side of the business.” Demonstrating this growth, Torque has also just passed 55,000 candidates on its FastTrack database and successfully completed its 11,000th client order.

Torque specialises in blue-collar labour hire to mining, engineering and construction sectors. It employs more than 40 staff in offices in Queensland and Western Australia and has more than 600 skilled workers (and growing) on site each week.

Byrnes said the benefits to his young business included the scalability and cost-effectiveness of the product licensing and the reliability of FastTrack’s products.

“We’ve not had one minute of downtime in three years, and I wouldn’t have expected that. I’ve been amazed; it’s exceeded my expectations in that regard. It’s been absolutely outstanding,” he said.
