Robert Walters takes FastTrack to Asia

FastTrack takes another step into the international market with the sale of its payroll/billing system to Robert Walters' Asian operation.

International recruitment consultancy Robert Walters has selected FastTrack’s mid-office payroll/billing solution to power the growing contract employment operations in its Singapore and Hong Kong businesses.

Robert Walters’ Chief Financial Officer Asia-Pacific Sandy Perri said the company’s positive experience with the FastTrack product in its Australia and New Zealand operations over the past 11 years had proved to be an important factor in its decision.

“When it came time to find a suitable pay/bill system for a number of our Asian contract businesses, FastTrack was one of several options that we looked at,” Perri said. “However, FastTrack was the only integrated payroll/billing system option that we were confident had the ability to deliver on what was promised.”

Perri said the company’s level of in-house expertise in the FastTrack system and the attraction of maintaining consistent workflows, controls and reporting across the Asia-Pacific operations also helped to make FastTrack a logical choice.

“FastTrack’s payroll/billing module has helped us improve the quality of our controls within Asian payroll, increase the quality of the output, and helped us get consistency in our IT systems and support processes across the broader region,” Perri said. “Our Asian management will be better informed as a result and we expect that will help them to better manage their contract businesses. Now, we’ve got ready access to certain information that we were never able to easily to get a handle on before.”

FastTrack CEO Justin Sway said that the FastTrack integrated product suite continued to bring significant cost savings and capability to many SME and large Enterprise clients, “especially with new versions being developed to support our customers in their Asia-Pacific operations”.

More international sales have already been made and several others are in early negotiation stages. “FastTrack has developed into a leading international player with more multi-country solutions being developed, suited to the large global staffing and labour hire companies,” Sway said.
