Desktop v9.3 Release Coming Soon

FastTrack's latest Desktop product suite upgrade will be available from early June, 2011 and distributed to clients right through to July, 2011.

May 2011

Commencing early June, the Desktop v9.3 Recruitment Software Upgrade will be made available to clients using Recruitment Payroll Manager, in order to meet taxation requirements. Later in July, the upgrade will be released to all remaining clients.

Release overview

• SIGNIFICANT “under the hood” system changes provides compatibility to the new generation of 64-bit operating systems.
• IMPROVED Outlook Extensions features means greater control and ease of adding comments to SkillsBase & Recruitment Manager from incoming emails in your Inbox.
• ENHANCED ISYS indexing that improves indexing speed and accuracy by removing incompatible file formats will mean that customers can create new indexes more frequently thereby having access to recently added resumes faster.
• UPDATE all Payees to be “Flood Levy Ready”. The new calculation will not take effect until after the 2011 / 2012 PAYG tax scales have been updated later in June.
• ADDITIONAL information added to the standard Payee payslip to comply with legislative changes – Policy number & Current amount – depending on the print option selected.
• IMPROVED Database Maintenance Utility that provides the tools – Repair Database, Repair Primary & Secondary Keys & Database Cleanup – to better manage your FastTrack systems.
• UPGRADED integration to Microsoft’s latest Office suite of products.
• ATO 2011 / 2012 financial year requirements included

Available in late June, 2011, advisory communications will be sent prior to release. It is anticipated that this update will be available for download via FastTrack’s website.

Paid Parental Leave

An Australian Government funded scheme, effective July 1^st 2011, an instruction guide will be released with Desktop v9.3 to assist clients in meeting their obligations and facilitate the easy payment of the Parental Leave pay.
